Rona

thousands of years ago Rona lived with her family in a little kainga. Rona lived with her family.There lived a lake as blue as the sky.  One day Rona’s husband and the two kids set off to go fishing Rona made the hangi. Rona had no water for the hangi. She could see the water but  the moon went behind the clouds so she stubbed her toe on a tree root and got angry at the moon. The moon grappled Rona angrily into the sky. Sometimes you can still see her.
